Day 9 of the Shradh is dedicated to the all mothers. Or in other words to all the decreased females and feminine energy. This day we can all pray for and pay our offerings to all the female ancestors. Traditionally this day, people perform Shradh for their deceased mothers and all the female ancestors in both the maternal and parental family.

Feminine energy is all about nurturing. Letting go and resting. Oftentimes, we are all under the impression that abundance and money are related to the masculine or the father energy. However, in truth, it is also a very important aspect of the feminine energy. And a balance between both. We forget to understand that, receiving is an aspect of the feminine. Therefore, to be in the state of abundance, it is necessary to not only be in action and give but also sit back and receive.

Another aspect, commonly seen with the feminine energy today, is the suppression of the emotions and personal power. In my practice, I have understood that this is a central theme for majority of us. And this is what we look at clearing today.

– Clearing Feminine Wounds

Protect yourself with white or golden light. And ground yourself well before beginning the process.

Light a white, green or yellow candle and dedicate it to all the female ancestors of your family. Both maternal and paternal.

Focus on the flame, then close your eyes and take several deep breaths.

Now think about how the females in your family, both maternal and paternal, and see how much and where they have supressed their voice. Their power. Where and how they have supressed themselves and gave in to the patriarchal society pressures. Try to remember or recollect this for as many female members of your family as you can.

Next, if you wish to write down what all feelings and emotions come up for you, pelase do. This is optional. However, helps a lot. It may so happen that your emotions may surface and tears may roll down your cheeks. Allow them. That is the release happening.

Next, say this prayer of intention 3 times out loud:
*Dear mother ancestors, and all the female ancestors known and unknown, I, on behalf of my family, acknowledge the pain, suffering, trauma and suppression of truth and emotions, you may have gone through. We are extremely sorry for all that happened to you. Please forgive us. We ask that you please clear our lineage of this energy of pain, trauma and suffering. Please release us. And fill the lineage with self worth and personal power. We ask for your forgiveness, if we may have failed you, or not kept our promise in any way. We ask for your forgiveness if we may have left any energy imbalanced. Please forgive us. Please clear our lineage of all the blocks that do not allow us to come into our power. And balance our masculine and feminine. We forgive you for creating the pain, trauma, suffering and suppression of emotions and truth in our lineage. We forgive you and bless you for all the learning. We release you. Our lineage is cleared. We own our truth and power now. Please continue to bless us. We thank you.

After you have said this, do ho’oponopono for 5 to 10 mins with the same intention for all the female ancestors.
I am sorry
Please forgive me
I love you
I thank you
I own my power

And then, continue with your day. Remember, intention and gratitude is what is required predominantly. And everything else follows.
